Delineation & Hydrology
AVANT
staff includes scientists who have been trained in wetland
delineation by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Our wetland
experience includes:
- Delineations
for industries and cellular-communication companies
throughout the midwest in conjunction with Phase
I environmental site assessments, NEPA evaluations,
habitat assessments, floodway assessments, and Section
106 compliance evaluations.
- Annual
wetland-mitigation monitoring for submission to
the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
- Recharge
modeling and soil infiltration-capacity studies
to support the designs of several high-profile artificial
wetlands constructed for treating sanitary wastewater
and groundwater contaminated with fertilizer constituents.
- Hydrologic
characterizations of wetland systems.
